Johansen resigns as HydrogenPro CEO: Company seeks ‘alternative’ financing for US expansion

Tarjei Johansen has stepped down as CEO of HydrogenPro with immediate effect as the Norwegian electrolyser manufacturer seeks “alternative ways” of financing its US expansion and focuses efforts on North America.

Jarle Dragvik, current CEO of HydrogenPro’s second largest shareholder TM Holding AS will now serve as the electrolyser producer’s CEO.

Having taken to the position just last November (2022), Johansen’s resignation follows off the back of a seemingly successful start to 2023, where the company inked a partnership with Andritz, delivered systems to Japan, expanded its Chinese production capacity by 66% and scored contracts in Finland and the US.
